Improving Teacher Professionalism Through Empowering Harvard University CS50X Alumni in Developing Technology-Based Teaching Materials at SMA Negeri 1 Lasolo

Abstract: The empowerment of CS50X alums was carried out to improve the professionalism of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Lasolo in developing technology-based teaching materials. In this case, the implementation method is through experimental activities, and the peer teaching method is used to train teachers using Google Sites as a teaching medium. The activity results showed that the program succeeded in improving the skills of 29 teachers in developing application-based teaching materials integrated with the school's digital platform. Validation by three experts ensured that the teaching materials developed were of good quality and by the curriculum. In addition, there was an increase in teacher interest and motivation in utilizing technology in learning. This program's impact includes strengthening the Merdeka Curriculum's implementation and improving the quality of learning at SMA Negeri 1 Lasolo.
