Abstract: Soybean is one of the main crops used in crop rotation in areas cultivated with irrigated rice. The objective of this study was to find the main characteristics of the most productive cultivars in lowlands. The experiment was conducted for two consecutive harvests, 2021/2022 and 2022/2023. In the experiment, 26 cultivars were tested, sown in split plots, with three randomized blocks. The cultural treatments were in accordance with the 43rd soybean research meeting in the southern region. The data were subjected to analysis of variance and subsequently the Scott-Knott mean comparison test, at a 5% probability of error. The cultivars HO Pirapó, BMX Nexus, HO Terere, DM 66i68, NS 6601, BMX Cromo, Neo 610, BMX Fibra, BMX Compacta, ST 622 and ST 592, show good produc-tivity and adaptation to cultivation in lowlands. The plant height data resulted in an aver-age height of 111 cm.Regarding the lodging index, we had cultivars that were totally resistant to lodging, such as the Cordius cultivar, but some were totally susceptible, such as TMG 2165. We concluded that the HO Pirapó cultivar proved to be the most adapted to the lowland cultivation system.
