Year: 2015
Type: dissertation
Abstract: \n \nThe aim of this thesis is to summarize and outline risk factors and factors associated with patellofemoral pain (PFP) and the effects (benefits and harms) of exercise therapy aimed at reducing knee pain and improving knee function for people with PFP. Furthermore, we aim to identify effect modifiers to response to treatment, to determine the natural course of PFP, and to explore its proposed continuum to patellofemoral osteoarthritis (PFOA).
