Abstract: The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the dispositions of creative thinking in teachers as one of the key factors of their professional self-realization in modern education. The importance of developing the creative competencies of teachers to effectively respond to the challenges of digitalization, globalization and the transformation of the educational environment is emphasized. It is substantiated that teachers' creativity is not an innate quality, but is formed through a specially created educational environment, continuous self-study, participation in training sessions and professional communities. Effective practices for forming creative thinking are analyzed. The main characteristics of creative thinking are identified: flexibility, non-standardization, and the ability to improvise and reflect. An important part of the study was a survey among the teachers of V. G. Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University and Poltava Institute of Business of the Higher Education Institution “Yuri Buhay International Scientific and Technical University”. The article presents the results of the survey, which show the high value of motivation, communication with colleagues, support from the administration, and access to modern resources. The main barriers to the implementation of creative methods are highlighted: lack of time, resources, and teaching materials. It is noted that teachers' creativity is a dynamic process that requires constant self-improvement, openness to new experiences, and reflective thinking about professional activities. It is generalized that the dispositions of creative thinking are not only a set of methods, but also an integral system of values, attitudes, and professional actions that promote the development of an innovative culture in higher education and ensure the teachers' adaptability to the dynamic changes in the modern educational environment.
