Yang–Mills Solution with Thermodynamic Interpretation of Massless Particles and Mass Gap
Year: 2025
Type: preprint
Abstract: This project presents a novel thermodynamic interpretation of the Yang–Mills mass gap problem, one of the major puzzles in modern physics. The central idea is that the existence of a mass gap arises not only from quantum dynamics, but also from entropic principles and phase space constraints. The project proposes that massless particles (such as gluons and photons) behave differently depending on their accessible entropy, and introduces an explicit formula to calculate the mass gap from entropy reduction and phase space restriction. This approach has direct applications to quantum chromodynamics (QCD) and offers new perspectives for physics beyond the Standard Model. By connecting modern theoretical physics with thermodynamics, this research provides simple explanations for complex phenomena and opens new avenues for addressing fundamental questions about the origin of mass in the universe.
