Abstract: This paper introduces Soulmance: A Sub-Genre of Spiritual Feminist Literature, formally created and named in 2025 by Mukata Dangi. Soulmance blends romance with spiritual transformation, centring the feminine voice, emotional truth, and soul-level connections as catalysts for inner awakening. Rooted in the principles of Spiritual Feminist Literature, the sub-genre expands feminist literary traditions by exploring sacred forms of love, romantic partners, best friends, mentors, spiritual guides, and twin flames. Through poetic style, feminist agency, and transformative storytelling, Soulmance offers readers and writers a space where love becomes both the fire and the light: a force that burns away illusion and illuminates truth.
