Abstract: Women hold a distinguished position in Hassani society; they have always been subjects of appreciation and respect wherever they reside. Despite the societal status accorded to women, they have remained on the margins of interest among researchers and those concerned with cultural affairs in these regions. This article aims to shed light on the role women have played in shaping Hassani culture, with a particular focus on their involvement in 'Lughn' (traditional poetry) and related cultural issues.
