Abstract: The groundworks for the erection of a new rear extension to an existing stone built 18th century house were monitored. The groundworks comprised the excavation of the foundations for the new extension along with various new services. The archaeological monitoring of the groundworks did not identify any archaeological activity and no significant finds.
