Abstract: Identification of the toxic properties of soil in Landfills (TPA) to determine the potential environmental impact using the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP). Pollutants such as lead, copper, hexavalent chromium, nitrite, and chloride, if present in excessive concentrations in the environment, will have negative impacts on the environment, causing pollution of soil, water, and air. The objective of this research is to determine the toxic properties of soil samples using the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) and to assess the potential environmental impact of hazardous solid waste (B3). The method used involves three stages: first, sampling at the location; second, sample preparation by extracting the samples using an agitator; and third, analyzing the contaminant parameters, including lead, copper, hexavalent chromium, nitrite, and chloride. The results of the analysis of pollutant parameters in Pb metal in the area of garbage piles and downstream areas of groundwater passed the quality standards of toxic characteristics through the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure for the determination of soil management contaminated with hazardous and toxic material waste in appendix XIII PPRI Number 22 of 2021. The potential environmental impact of B3 solid waste can be seen from the parameters of Pb pollutants that cross the quality standard based on the reference of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia long-term exposure to lead can damage the function of human body organs and systems, lead can enter the body if absorbed through the skin, ingested, or inhaled, there is no safe limit for lead levels in the body, Even low lead levels can still cause health problem.
