Emergent Higher-Dimensional Structures from Stepwise Combinatorial Logic

Type: article
Abstract: We present a combinatorial framework demonstrating that higher-dimensional structures can emerge naturally from lower-dimensional stepwise movement rules. By enumerating all non-zero ±1 combinations along the 3D Cartesian axes, we derive the 4D tesseract as an emergent geometry. Further, applying a nested 26-point configuration in 3D—representing all non-zero ±X, ±Y, and ±Z stepwise vectors—reproduces the rhombicuboctahedron and its crystalline lattice structure. This approach shows that complex polyhedral forms and higher-dimensional geometries can arise purely from discrete combinatorial principles, without reliance on classical geometric construction or energetic optimization. The framework is formally extensible to n-dimensional polytopes via recursive embeddings, providing a rigorous foundation for understanding emergent structures across dimensions and suggesting potential applications in nanostructure design, error-correcting codes, and topological quantum computing.
