Inter- and Transdisciplinarity in Teaching Ion Druță's Arionești Story
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Inter- and transdisciplinarity are concepts that are increasingly used in specialized literature in educational sciences, and these approaches are fully justified by the fact that they offer new perspectives on school content/subjects, as well as the possibility of making multiple connections. Our article aims to provide praxiological support for teachers in pre-university education to teach the short story Arionești by Ion Druță (included in the 7th form Romanian Language and Literature textbook) through inter- and transdisciplinarity, proposing activities that make the connection between Romanian Language and Literature and other school subjects and domains of knowledge: Geography, linguistic geography, Chemistry, Biology, Natural Sciences, as well as fine arts.
