Automatons in the New Enlightenment

Abstract: In this paper we establish formalisms to explore the realm of the ‘New Enlightenment’identified in a sister paper, by combining two established approaches: Integral Theory (IT), and biGraph formalism.We established a correspondence between Integral Theory and biGraphs that results in:generalising the standard concept of automata, which is especially relevant in the face ofmodern AI; and highlighting the need to extend the IT framework to cover collectives of suchautomata. Our extension to IT naturally leads us to suggest that automata may beat us to the level of Worldview maturity.
