The findings indicate that digital information, academic resources, and library databases exert a significant and positive impact on gender roles and fertility intentions. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of how digital information sourced from library resources aids the Chinese population in fertility-related decision-making. Additionally, the study offers valuable insights for policymakers seeking to shape fertility intentions through academic literature and digital information accessible via libraries.
