Abstract: The article examines the ethical issues of integrating artificial intelligence in the Internet of Things (IoT) and embedded systems based on transparency, accountability, and decision making autonomy. AI driven IoT application in various sector has been studied for security risks, algorithmic bias and the need for the explainable AI (XAI) platform. Results demonstrate a great demand for regulatory guidelines and ethical assessment frameworks to reduce the risks. Based on the research, it is concluded that the combination of the AI autonomy and human oversight is essential to prevent the deployment of ethical AI in IoT and embedded systems, which supports the trust and reliability of emerging technologies.
