Type locality Forat del Castell de la Formiga [original citation: “Forat del Castell de la Formiga, sobre Vilaverd”]. Type material Holotype ♂: MZB 78-2133, type loc., F. Español leg. Paratypes: MZB 78-2134 / MZB 78-2139 (5 ♂♂, 2 ♀♀), type loc., F. Español, M. Acevedo, I. Fernández & E. Schütte leg. │ MZB 78-2140 / MZB 78-2144 (4 ♂♂, 1 ♀), Avenc del Roc de les Abelles, F. Español, M. Acevedo, I. Fernández & E. Schütte leg. Remarks Male holotype originally designated as a “Tipo” (Article 73.1.1.). Español (1953a) does not give the number of specimens in the type series, merely mentioning two lots from the two named caves. There is no record of any material deposited in any other collection (Español, 1953a only explicitly refers to the deposit of the holotype in the MCNB).
