Current accepted name Quaestus spinulosus Salgado, 1998: Fresneda et al., 2024: 491. Type locality Cueva les Xianes [original citation: “Cueva les Xianes, La Piñera-Sevares, Asturias (España)”]. Type material Paratypes: MZB 98-0892 / MZB 98-0895, MZB 2010-0175, MZB 2017-1388 / MZB 2017-1390 (4 ♂♂, 4 ♀♀), type loc., 12-X-1996, J. M. Salgado leg. Remarks Type series consisting of 18 ♂♂ and 30 ♀♀ (Salgado 1998). Specimens of the type series deposited in other collections: ♂ holotype and ♀ allotype in the CZULE, paratypes in the CZULE, FLC, FMNHC, MCNA, MNHNP and PMGC (Salgado 1998; Fresneda & Salgado, 2016.
