Abstract: Key to Chinese species of Nemeritis Holmgren (females) 1. Clypeus nearly smooth (Fig. 4E); interocellar distance 0.4× ocello-ocular distance and 1.0× distance between median and lateral ocelli (Fig. 4F); costulae absent (Fig. 4C); external angles of second discal cell acute (60°) (Fig. 4A); hind wing with CU&cu-a not intercepted; thyridium separated from basal margin of tergite ca. 3.0× its length..... Nemeritis petila sp. nov. -. Clypeus granulose except the rim smooth and polished (Fig. 2E); interocellar distance 0.9× ocello-ocular distance and 2.0× distance between median and lateral ocelli (Fig. 2F); costulae weakly present (Fig. 2C); external angles of second discal cell vertical (Fig. 2A); hind wing with CU&cu-a intercepted at lower 0.3; thyridium separated from basal margin of tergite ca. 1.2× its length.......................................................................
