Abstract: ABSTRACTThis study aims to develop and implement a web-based DecisionSupport System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW)method to assist prospective students and their parents inselecting private senior high schools in the Pesanggrahan area,South Jakarta. The selection process applies fixed criteria, with aprimary focus on affordable tuition fees and high schoolaccreditation, in accordance with literature reviews indicatingthat these two factors are the main priorities for most parents.Data collection was conducted using secondary methods, utilizingofficial sources such as data from the Ministry of Education andCulture, school websites, and related references. The SAWmethod was applied to assign weights to each criterion, normalizevalues, and generate objective school rankings. The results showthat the developed system effectively centralizes schoolinformation, simplifies the search and comparison process, andprovides accurate recommendations in the form of rankings.Therefore, this system can serve as an effective tool for parentsin making informed decisions when selecting the most suitableprivate senior high school, while also contributing to theimprovement of educational information services in thePesanggrahan area.Keywords: Decision Support System, Simple Additive Weighting(SAW), Private Senior High School, Pesanggrahan, Tuition Fee,School Accreditation, Secondary Data Method, School Ranking
