Abstract: In recent years, the shift towards short-term and flexible mobility has accelerated, driven by urban congestion, rising vehicle ownership costs, and changing consumer lifestyles. Conventional car rental systems, whether offline or digital, often struggle with booking conflicts, limited real-time updates, inefficient document verification, and gaps in payment security. Wheelzy addresses these challenges through a secure, scalable, and user-friendly web application built using Python Flask, HTML/CSS, and SQL. The platform supports three roles—Administrator, Owner, and Renter—each with tailored functionality. Key features include secure authentication, document verification, real-time vehicle listing and availability management, booking confirmation, integrated payment processing, and interactive maps for pickup and drop-off navigation.
