In 2024, the global tourism industry accounted for approximately 10% of the world’s GDP and supported over 320 million jobs worldwide (World Travel & Tourism Council, 2024). This rapid growth reflects the increasing desire of people worldwide to explore new cultures, landscapes, and experiences.
