Abstract: Hemiops duchoni Schwarz, 1905 SDI Hemiops duchoni Schwarz, 1905: 265 (original description; published type locality: Kohima, Assam); Schwarz, 1907: 305 (catalogue; India: “ Assam, Kohima”); Schenkling, 1927: 504 (catalogue; India: “ Assam ”); Gaedike, 1985: 32 (type catalogue). Type Locality. India: Kohima District, Nagaland. Type Depository. Lectotype, F (SDEI); 1 Paralectotype, SU (SDEI). Distribution in India. Nagaland (Kohima District). General Distribution. India. Remark. The lectotype for H. duchoni was designated by G. Cuccodoro in 2019 (based on photographs of the data labels, courtesy of Kevin Weissing, SDEI, shared with us); however, we could not find any published literature confirming this designation. The species is considered endemic to India.
