Abstract: Cardiohypnus brancucci Dolin, 1992 SDI Cardiohypnus brancucci Dolin, 1992: 218 (original description; published type locality: Gangani, India; another locality- India: Himachal Pradesh); Korneev & Cate, 2005: 13 (type catalogue); Cate, 2007: 187 (catalogue; “UP” as India: Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh); Gupta et al., 2018: 502 (catalogue; “2B” as India: Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand). Type Locality. India: Gangnani, Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand [Gangani, Uttar Pradesh]. Type Depository. Holotype, M (NHMB); 3 Paratypes, 3 M (MNHN, SIZK). Distribution in India. Himachal Pradesh (Kullu District), Uttarakhand (Garhwal Division, Uttarkashi District). General Distribution. India, Nepal (Cate 2007). Remark. Known only from the male specimens. As the presence of this species in Uttar Pradesh requires confirmation, this locality is not included here.
