Senodonia montanus (Vats & Kashyap, 1992): Cate, 2007: 186 (synonymised Orientis Vats & Kashyap, 1992 with Senodonia Laporte; unchanged spelling, for more details, see Kundrata et al., 2018: 280; catalogue; “HP” as India: Himachal Pradesh); Gupta et al., 2018: 502 (catalogue; “2A” as India: Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir). Senodonia montana (Vats & Kashyap, 1992): Kundrata et al., 2018b: 280 (corrected spelling; catalogue; India: “ Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand ”). Type Locality. India: Kara Forest, Mandi District, Himachal Pradesh. Type Depository. Holotype, M (??); Allotype, F (??); 1 Paratype, M (??). Distribution in India. Himachal Pradesh (Mandi District), Uttarakhand (Rudraprayag District). General Distribution. India. Remark. The type material is not present in FRID and may be deposited in IARI, but this could not be verified. The species is considered endemic to India.
