Holopyga (Holopyga) gloriosa var. caucasica = Holopyga amoenula Dahlbom, 1845: Kimsey & Bohart, 1991:229. Holopyga inflammata caucasica: Rosa et al., 2013:10 (Qazvin); Farhad et al., 2017:88. Holopyga caucasica: Rosa et al., 2020b:117. Upgraded to species rank. Distribution. Iran (Qazvin). Caucasus, Cyprus, Palestine, and Türkiye (Rosa et al., 2013).
