Abstract: Chalcosyrphus dimidiatus (Brunetti, 1923) Xylota dimidiata Brunetti, 1923:232. Type locality: India. Distribution in Nepal. Oriental and Palaearctic – NEPAL. Kathmandu District; Jumla District: Maharigaon at 3,345m (Coe, 1964; Thapa, 2015; Ghorpadé, 2014, 2015a). Zoogeographical distribution. Oriental and Palaearctic – INDIA (Ghorpadé, 2015b; Sengupta et al., 2016).
