Abstract: SYNAPSIS is a collaborative project advancing audiovisual data management, sharing, and analysis in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH). The project provides a secure, privacy-aware platform that integrates cutting-edge masking tools for audiovisual data, allowing researchers to protect sensitive information while making data more accessible for analysis. Alongside the platform, comprehensive training programs will equip researchers and data stewards with the skills to implement masking and multimodal analytics in their workflows, promoting open science and improving research transparency.
