Abstract: The pyramidellid gastropod Pyrgulina maiae Hornung & Mermod, 1924, originally described from the Red Sea (Massawa, Eritrea) and widely recorded as immigrant in the Mediterranean Sea, is reported for the first time from eastern Spain.
