Consolidated Balance Sheet of Associated Valuable Components in Ores of the Yoshlik 1 Deposit

Year: 2025
Type: dissertation
Abstract: This work presents a consolidated balance of associated valuable components in ores of the Yoshlik-1 deposit (Uzbekistan). The study focuses on the distribution of selenium, tellurium, rhenium, cobalt, nickel, cadmium, and indium among ore minerals. Chalcopyrite and pyrite are identified as the major host phases for selenium and tellurium, while rhenium is predominantly concentrated in molybdenite. Cobalt and nickel display contrasting distribution patterns between sulfide and oxide phases, whereas cadmium and indium are strongly associated with sphalerite. These findings highlight the potential for recovering critical elements as by-products during the processing of copper–molybdenum ores, contributing to both economic efficiency and resource sustainability.
