The EJ Newton Effect
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: In 2025, EJ Newton—once known as a gospel singer and now a preacher—shared a shocking testimony that exposed the hidden spirit operating in many pulpits today. He admitted that, under the guidance of a prophetic mentor, he paid $4,444 to “cancel” a pregnancy, and the young woman miscarried. Later, he mocked prophetesses by ridiculing the sacred act of head covering, saying that once women put on scarves, they suddenly call themselves “prophetesses.” These are not random missteps. They reveal a deeper pattern—a spirit that manipulates, mocks, and compromises while presenting itself as prophetic. This is what I call the EJ Newton Effect.
