Abstract: Fasciosminthurus quinquefasciatus (KRAUSBAUER, 1898) is reported for a first time from Poland. Several specimens were collected from the surface of sandy soil in a sunny, dry part of a drainage ditch next to a railway embankment near the village Raszowa (Upper Silesia).
