Abstract: This preliminary collection forms a ready-to-use safety toolkit for field research and participatory reporting across Europe and Africa. It supplies consent scripts in plain language, a risk matrix for sites and routes, daily brief and check in formats, and packing lists linked to medical and data needs. It lays out device and account hygiene, coded file names, two tier backups, and secure messaging ladders. It includes crowd and election day field scripts, checkpoint conversation prompts, and clear triggers to pause or exit. A publication review pairs anonymity choices with legal verification and editing checks. Onboarding notes cover roles, fair payment, safety rights, wellbeing routines, and crisis response steps.
