Abstract: This repository contains data and custom code for reproducing the analyses in the scientific article "Effects of a fishery closure on the European eel stock on the Swedish west coast" published in Fisheries Research (xxx). Here´s a short description of how to run the analyses: Download and unzip the file "Säterberg_et_al_2025_Fish_Res.7z" Open the R-project "Eel_model.Rproj". Render and run analyses using the .qmd-file in the folder Report ("Sensitivity_analysis_eel_model.qmd") The repository contains the following folders: Figures - a folder with all figures and tables produced using the "Sensitivity_analysis_eel_model.qmd"- file MCMC_output - Monte carlo markov chain output from all models presented in Säterberg et al. 2025. Report - Master script for running all analyses in Säterberg et al. 2025. STAN - Custome code with implementation of the model described in Säterberg et al. 2025.
