Abstract: In this talk a solution for the dynamic scheduling of flexible flow shop systems using gantry robots for material handling by means of simulation and Reinforcement Learning (RL) is presented. Subsequently the pros and cons of a RL approach are briefly discussed and illustrated at the robot control problem.
