"Sleep Apnea- A Wilcox Chain Perspective on Respiratory Instability"
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper redefines sleep apnea as a topological propagation of electromagnetic instability across respiratory and neuronal nodes (Γ). Each node’s coherence is quantified by MID_local, with stability maintained by the Dynamic EM Stabilization Loop (DESL ⚡↔🧲↔💧↔🔁) and instability propagated through the Wilcox Chain (🔗). Exceeding the critical threshold κ_resp triggers micro-oscillatory precursors (💢), offering a predictive and falsifiable framework for apnea onset. The model explains CPAP therapy as an adjustment of stabilization (α) and perturbation (β), framing respiratory instability in dimensionless, universal terms that also extend to neural, vascular, and astrophysical systems. Keywords: sleep apnea, Wilcox Chain, DESL, electromagnetic instability, MID_local, respiratory nodes, dimensionless framework, predictive biophysics, micro-oscillatory precursors
