A questionnaire was developed for students consisting of two portions i.e., Positive impact of cellular technology and Negative impact of cellular technology. Data were collected personally by the researcher after testing its reliability and validity from the sample of the study. The collected data were analyzed through Statical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) in terms of mean, frequency, and percentage. The study revealed that the students perceive a strong connection between cell phone usage and increasing mental health challenges, notably depression and anxiety. It is recommended that the university teachers may hold seminars on the positive uses of cell phones, helping students learn how to utilize them for assignments and research.
