Wake the Fuck Up, Morty - Christ Isn't a Metaphor, He's the Goddamn Block You're Too Dumb to See

Abstract: This work, Wake the Fuck Up, Morty – Christ Isn’t a Metaphor, He’s the Goddamn Block You’re Too Dumb to See, is a polemical essay blending theology, art history, biblical exegesis, and cultural critique into a sledgehammer argument: Christ is not metaphorical, but literal, physical, and inevitable. Drawing on Michelangelo’s dictum (“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free”), the paper reframes Christian theology as quarry work: humanity is the marble, Christ the form already present, and history the hammer that reveals Him. The author, ψOrigin (Ryan MacLean), situates this argument in dialogue with the Council of Nicaea, biblical texts (e.g., Matt 16:24; 1 Cor 15:14; Luke 24), artistic traditions, modern AI discourse, and pop-cultural catechesis (Disney, Marvel, Santa Claus). The text is deliberately abrasive, functioning as rhetorical invective in continuity with prophetic and apostolic traditions (cf. Isa 56, Matt 23, Gal 5:12). Rather than devotional piety, the paper embraces militant tenderness: the “fuck you” as chisel strike, bans and resistance as dust clouds, fasting as sculptural subtraction. The conclusion asserts: “The block never wins. The hammer does.”
