"What It Is, Not What It Ain't! Escalating Tensions in the Mexican Drug War"
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper discusses the escalating tensions in the Mexican Drug War up to September 2025, as well as actions taken by Trump near Venezuela and in Chicago. Musical genres of Reggaetton, Banda & narcocorridos, typically associated with the drug culture in Durango, are discussed. This work is considered the 3rd in a Tolkienesque-like trilogy, starting with the 'True History,' 'Miscellany,' and ending with the 'Tensions.' All of these works discuss the Mexican Drug War to a greater or lesser extent. The author bears witness and tries to elaborate on his scant knowledge. The present work is still available for editing.
