The Philosophy of Science Transformation Shown by Existence Wave Theory ~From Mathematical Success to Physical Understanding~

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: While modern physics has achieved remarkable predictive capabilities through the refinement of mathematical descriptions, it has left behind fundamental understanding of "why things happen as they do." This includes various phenomena such as the principle of constant light speed, the source of gravitational force, and the origin of proton binding forces over extended periods. This study examines the philosophical implications of the Existence Wave Theory previously constructed by the author (Sugama, 2025a-f), clarifying the nature of the conceptual crisis facing modern physics. It also points out the limitations of the traditional object-centric paradigm and argues for the necessity of transitioning to a new worldview based on three concepts: Space Quantum, Existence Wave, and Archetype.Particularly important is the establishment of a "conceptual guardrail" function that distinguishes between mathematical equivalence and physical reality. This enables proper understanding of the application limits of E=mc², correct interpretation of the uncertainty principle, and appropriate interpretation of spacetime concepts. Furthermore, regarding the classical philosophical opposition of "Do electrons really exist, or are they merely computational conveniences?", this study presents a new solution by understanding matter as "stabilizable information structure patterns on Space Quanta." By returning physics from mathematical manipulation to the exploration of "the principles of things," this work provides a new perspective for 21st-century philosophy of science. This paper examines the philosophical implications of the Existence Wave Theory series (Sugama, 2025a-f) and presents new solutions to the conceptual crisis in modern physics. This work builds upon and synthesizes the theoretical framework established in the previous publications.
