Stability Indicating Analytical Method and Validation of a Uv Spectrophotometric Method for Estimation of Levosulpiride in Bulk and Its Formulation

Abstract: A simple, sensitive, and selective UV spectrophotometric method was successfully developed and validated for the estimation of Levosulpiride. The method utilized UV spectrometry, with the maximum absorbance (λmax) observed at 291 nm. The optimized concentration was determined to be 80 µg/ml, corresponding to an absorbance of 0.517. The assay method demonstrated excellent validation parameters, with a linearity coefficient of 0.9981.
