Complete Hemodynamic Analysis of Cushing's Triad: From Mathematical Constraints to Terminal Cardiac Failure.
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Starting from de Broglie principles and energy conservation, we derive precise quantitative relationships that exactly predict clinical observations in Cushing’s triad. The mathematical constraints force diastolic collapse with compensatory systolic rise, maintaining MAP while destroying perfusion. The terminal sequence proceeds through myocardial hypoperfusion to cardiac arrest, with subcortical ischemia causing the respiratory changes. This complete mathematical framework reveals Cushing’s triad as a forced hemodynamic redistribution, not a protective reflex.
