Abstract: A Geometric Origin for Physical Law and Chemical AnomaliesBrian Simpson (2025) This work establishes a first-principles framework in which physical and chemical law emerge from a single coherence kernel and three geometric gates. Applying strict admissibility rules — , , and TB ≥ 0.60 — yields a finite registry of 84 lawful states, constrained by octonionic scarcity quotas. From this finite registry, the framework explains both order and anomaly in nature: Stable structure: periodic shell closures, magic numbers, and robust materials. Chemical anomalies: technetium’s instability, manganese’s irregular oxidation states, chromium and copper’s anomalous filling, and tin pest. Reaction energetics: coherence accounting via ΔTB predicts exothermic and endothermic analogues. Activation barriers: a universal coherence barrier function with γ ≈ 2.8 models transition states and catalysis. Materials science: the Integrity Index links atomic and lattice TB to mechanical stability, matching experimental modulus ratios. Worked examples (water formation, nitric oxide, diamond vs. lead) show quantitative agreement between coherence arithmetic and experimental data. A single calibration constant (K ≈ 2860 kJ·mol⁻¹ per TB unit) maps coherence directly into thermochemistry, kinetics, and mechanics. The paper includes reproducibility protocols, falsification ladders, and a machine-readable Reaction Atlas (v0.10), ensuring transparency and testability. octonions, coherence kernel, registry, triality balance, forbidden numbers, reaction energetics, catalysis, integrity index, physical law, chemical anomalie
