Abstract: In Agroindustrial waste is byproducts generated by agroindustrial processes and if not processed properly, it represents environmental problems. Various researchers are looking for new avenues and these co-products have added value because there is no clear environmental awareness for their management and final destination, as well as specific legislation. Therefore, this project aims to characterize four agroindustrial wastes from the state of Tabasco: devil fish (Hypostomus plecostomus), banana flour (Musa paradisiaca L), whey, molasses, with the purpose of being implemented in the environmental area: soils, bioaugmentation to microorganisms, means for the production of biosurfactants and thus enhance their value in sustainable practices. The characterizations were based on Official Methods of Analysis of AOAC INTERNATIONAL (OMA) and Official Mexican Standards (NOM-021-SERMANAT-2000, NOM 138-SEMARNAT/SS-2003 and NOM-147-SEMARNAT/SSA1 2007).
