Design and Implementation of Wheeled Drug Delivery Mobile Robot Path

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The aim of the paper is design and implements a drug delivery robot for health care services, where distance is a critical factor, by all health care professionals for transporting medicines and medical supplies. A four-wheel rover 5 platform is used as a mobile robot chassis with the Arduino microcontroller interfacing. The computed path is sent from the PC base station to a mobile robot via wireless communication by Bluetooth. Ultrasonic sensor is utilized to identify and steer clear of any impediments in the mobile robot way and IR senor used for track the destination path. This paper has been able to design a self-programming robot for transporting medicines and medical supplies, and it is controlled by the computer, as it delivers the medicine at the time and place that is specified without anyone having to worry about it. It is possible that it replaces the nurses with many things, which will reduce the efforts of the nurses and remove the risk of transmission of infection from them and reduce the number of nurses we need in each hospital hall.
