Abstract: ABSTRACT It is amazing; the introduction and expansion of modern education and educational institution at saja town ,the talk of Saja, societies, teachers and stack holders. E.t.c. Modern Education introduce at saja town by American protestant religious missionaries (SIM under DR. Lambe group members were 11th,) because of the spread of malaria disease during the reign period of emperor Haile slassie 1 in 1936E.C.and related this Health care and fruit caltivation introduce in the region. Even though different problems in the introduction of modern education might be strange for the expansion of modern education, political turmoil, religious conservatives’ , drug ,traditional attitude, change of government structure, external invasion, and the societies, how it could be strange for the Saja communities development, teachers, educational workers and students advancement? It is hardly possible for a country to achieve a sound economic ,political, social or cultural development in a situation where its citizens do not have and pass through a well established education system. Modern education started to expanded by literacy campaign , secularism introduce, durig Derg and it widely expanded at the time of FDRE. Different NGO’s were in different time participated to expanded modern education and educational institution at saja town. Religious missions were wiped out in the region during Derg by force .because of ideological contradiction with America
