Hyperdimensional Spectral Decoding of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Chemical Shift Anisotropy via Convolutional Graph Neural Networks for Pharmaceutical Compound Validation
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: **Abstract:** Current methods for determining Chemical Shift Anisotropy (CSA) in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectra, a vital parameter for understanding molecular structure and dynamics, are computationally expensive and often inaccurate, particularly for complex pharmaceutical compounds. This paper introduces a novel approach leveraging Convolutional Graph Neural Networks (CGNNs) trained on hyperdimensional feature embeddings of spectral data to achieve a 10x improvement in CSA prediction accuracy and a 5x reduction in processing time compared to established methods. The system, termed HyperSpectral CSA Predictor (HSCP), dynamically optimizes prediction weights via reinforcement learning, adapting to varying molecular complexity and spectral noise. The immediate commercial implications include significant acceleration in drug discovery pipelines, improved material characterization, and enhanced understanding of protein folding processes.
