Holonic Reflexive Substrate (Program Snapshot - Sept 2025)

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This collection presents a unified formalism for the Holonic Reflexive Substrate (HRS), a meta-paradigm designed to generalize and interconnect classical modelling approaches across science, computation, and cognition. The materials include the foundational axioms, universal operator formalism, and canonical equations that define HRS as a compositional and reflexive substrate. The documents provide: A formal definition of the HRS meta-state, embedding identity, memory, coherence, entropy, and recursive operators. An engineering specification detailing the library structure, API contracts, and modular implementation logic for substrate-compliant systems. An operational addendum that establishes canonical execution order, operator precedence, and safe defaults for implementation. Expanded forms and addenda extending the formalism with symbolic, observer-relative, and hybrid constructs for advanced modelling scenarios. A consolidated set of equations linking HRS structures to existing paradigms such as agent-based models, Bayesian inference, Markov processes, graph theory, and system dynamics. Together, these files provide a rigorous and extensible foundation for representing, composing, and hybridizing models across domains, with emphasis on recursive modularity, observer relativity, and invariant-driven selection. The framework is not a domain-specific solver but a substrate for unification, translation, and extensibility.
