Maritime Security: Two Personal Experiences

Abstract: Both authors share their experiences as 18-year-olds in the Canadian naval experience program (BvL) and US Army sponsored Arctic Ocean research (KA) in 2024 and 1984 respectively and hope that these personal reflections will spur discussion about what is needed to ensure maritime security, with a focus on the Arctic.
