Information and geometric interpretation of radioactive decay

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This work presents an informational and geometric interpretation of radioactive decay, reconsidering α-, β-, and γ-decay not as stochastic disintegrations but as topological transformations within the spin foam structure of spacetime. In this approach, unstable nuclei are seen as regions of local geometric imbalance. Their decay processes are interpreted as corrective adjustments carried out through the interaction of nucleons with the informational field encoded in the spin network. Within this framework, the weak interaction is not understood as a simple exchange of force carriers but as a transmission of high-level informational instructions to the geometry, enabling flavor change in quarks and the coordinated emergence of leptons and neutrinos as compensatory agents. Similarly, γ-emission is interpreted not merely as the release of excess energy but as the final informational marker of geometric stabilization, carrying a “frequency code” that restores vibrational-topological equilibrium. By shifting the perspective from particles interacting in empty space to information-driven transformations of spacetime geometry, this model emphasizes decay as an act of restoring geometric integrity rather than disruption. The interpretation opens a conceptual pathway for viewing fundamental processes in physics as manifestations of informational dynamics embedded within the architecture of reality itself.
