Abstract: Lovemance: A Genre of Expansive Love within Spiritual Feminist Literature introduces Lovemance, a new literary genre created by Mukata Dangi in 2025. Lovemance explores love as a catalyst for spiritual awakening and self-transformation, moving beyond conventional romance to embrace soul-level bonds and universal compassion. Rooted in the wider movement of Spiritual Feminist Literature, this paper defines the genre’s key concepts, historical context, and literary significance. It presents Lovemance as both a creative form and a cultural practice, one that reclaims the feminine voice, celebrates sacred relationships, and charts a path toward collective healing and remembrance.
