Abstract: The 6th Meeting of Bergey’s International Society for Microbial Systematics (BISMiS 2025) will take place from October 17 to 20, 2025, in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China, at the Crowne Plaza Qingdao Ocean Spring Resort (https://www.ihg.com/crowneplaza/hotels/us/en/qingdao/taojc/hoteldetail). This international gathering will bring together leading scientists, early-career researchers, and graduate students to share the latest advances in microbial taxonomy, systematics, and microbiomes. The conference is jointly hosted by Shandong University, the State Key Laboratory of Microbial Technology, the Chinese Society for Microbiology, the State Key Laboratory of Microbial Diversity and Innovative Utilization, and Bergey’s International Society for Microbial Systematics.
